Dee Art Place, a locally owned glass and candle shop in Columbus, MS, offers a wide variety of products and services. Our classes are very popular at the moment. We offer classes in stained glass, fused glass and mosaics. We are planning to teach etched glass classes in the future. The classes cover a range of experience, from the beginner who has never cut glass to those who cut glass like an expert. Do you already know how to make something in fused or stained glass? Then we have good news for you! Dee Art Place stocks most of the tools and supplies you will need. No more ordering supplies by mail or driving long distances just to see a piece of glass before you buy it. Our inventory of tools and supplies is growing. If we don't have what you need in stock, we can get it for you. We can meet or beat the mail order prices and we can cover the price of shipping too.
If glass-making is not your cup of tea, Dee Art Place offers for purchase a wide selection of beautiful glass objects. The shop has a gallery full of items in fused glass, etched glass and stained glass. Don't see what you want? Dee will be glad to work with you to help place the idea in your head on paper and transfer it to glass.
Dee Art Place also offers candles and aroma oils. Each candle is handmade and hand-stirred in the store. If you have not experienced D's Candles, you are missing a treat! As one customer says, the candles smell "heavenly"! The color of the candles are bright, bold and sure to add to any decor. The aroma of the candles last all the way to the bottom of the jar. For those who do not like an open flame in your home, Dee Art Place also makes aroma oils. We also have a wide variety of aroma lamps. Our customers like that we can make candles and oils in their favorite scent. If you do not see your favorite scent, let us know and we'll try to get it for you.
